The potential of photocatalysts modified cement-based materials in degrading environmental pollutants is evident previous studies, but the application photocatalytic still appears limited actual practice due to dispersion effect. This work seeks prepare cement paste by mixing with BiOBr precursor solutions terms improvement efficiency, and additional hydrothermal conditions provided autoclaved curing period are required activate activity crystals. presence results an increase RhB degradation rate up 45.4% NOx removal efficiency was 4.4%, formation crystals main reason for performance enhancement. morphology pore size distribution also contribute enhancement exposed surface photocatalysts, which supported analyses Scanning Electron Microscope Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry results.
